This band plays real music - not some commercial pop that my generation listens to.

Agree, a few centuries ago I listen to their amazing concert in Confederacy they was much better. So far new soloist are bringing new air into the band, having bright wave. Anyway I wait them in Brasil some day.

@TotenFaschist Perhaps, although some of the 1890s tracks include traditional pieces.

However, some tracks recorded in the early days of recorded music (1890s) don't feature a credited performer. What do we do then?

That description is a bit...aggressive. I was listening to last.fm radio, so it's their fault.

Oh, and much of the music in the charts and in the top albums isn't traditional in any case.

Look at the "Top albums" -- not one of them has no artist. Very little recorded music has no artist; when it doesn't have a composer, there'll be a performer. It seems, though, that the people who keep voting down the "mistagge" graphic, and remoiving the explanation in the bio, have no respect for the people who produced the music to which they listen.

I understand the tag (I have it for non-scrobbling tracks) but there's always an artist who performs it. Meh.
