They remain consistently good even after the better part of two decades which is just so rare for bands in this space.

All 5 of them are incredible. I think they’re going to be timeless and will go down as legends.

Imagine writing Feign or Come Heroine after 15 years of being in the same hardcore band 🤯

Jeremy Bolm is a sweetheart. Touche Amore live was amazing. Saw them sometime in 2011. Fantastic. Would love to see them again.

This band was everything for me in high school. Met Jeremy once after a set he did with Deadhead and was amazed at how chill he was. Watching them on that tour with Title Fight, Menzingers, and Shook Ones, I really took that for granted. Always a treat to revisit these guys even with the new stuff

Amazing screaming. Eh, some event in SPb/Msk, like in 2014, is now just a dream. So pity.

I think what makes Touche so damn good is Jeremy's screaming is so clear. For a hardcore vocalist you can make out every word without having to reference lyric sheets. It's so clear but it's still aggressive and angry and not clean singing. I don't know how he does it but it's elite.

I don't know why you're listening to emo if you have a problem with "whiny bitch shit"

It's a rhetorical question. There is no difference - they're all dead to him. That's it. Jeremy's lyrics have almost always been very to the point and literal. Imagine not seeing this obvious statement and publicly showing you don't have a clue what you're talking about.

Birds in row are kinda similar as well, the first two pianos, last city by loma prieta also has similar vibe to their early albums

La Dispute, Pianos Become the Teeth, Title Fight, and Loma Prieta come close enough as far as sound, mutual influences, and camaraderie go

They fucking did it again, not a single bad song in their whole discography.

so i was like "hm its okay i guess" while i listened to the new album for the first time but when it had finished i was like "maybe i should listen to it back to back" now here i am on my whatever-th consecutive iteration and all i have to say is that i don't think touché amoré can release bad music and i'm forever grateful for this band existing. thank you for lament.

As someone who thinks Stage Four is the band’s best album to date, I’m pretty pleased with Lament after one go. Moments of it raise the bar for their sound’s accessibility – which will probably rub some stubborn hXc kids the wrong way – but it’s tough to refute that their songwriting abilities are in full swing once again. Really eager to see how it holds up.
