It took a while for me, but as of January last year, I've been utterly in love with The Beekeeper. This song is amazing - yet so underrated.

One of her most underrated songs. Gorgeous. The Beekeeper is also underrated, and a beautiful album.

It's so gorgeous, but underneath the beauty is so much tragedy. Like a lot of the album.

Pretty laboured live version of one of the better songs from 'The Beekeeper'. There are better renditions out there.

I agree with ambigo. I remember sitting at the concert I'd been so anticipating and feeling a little dismayed that she was playing Jamaica Inn instead of something else. It turned out to be spectacularly clear, beautiful, and honest. Check out the version from Boston '09 bootleg if you can.

I agree with everyone about "the sexiest thing is trust." Not a truer word has ever been said.

I used to laugh at the "sexy trust" line but now it hits me.... I appreciate the "betrayal hidden under lace and teacups" theme in the album and this song is a great example.... probably the biggest grower since 05.
