DIY ghost bop-- probably the most intriguing (and fitting) descriptor for a piece of music I've heard in a few hours

Many thanks for the for the free songs. They're exactly what I need in my spirit-backpack as I wander through this strange, sunny Texas afternoon.

I can see where they're coming from. I can think of a few places in California where this music describes the area perfectly.

The similarity in chord structure and tempo is very interesting, but "blatant rip off" is too strong an indictment. Its a very simple chord structure which sounds cool, but is nothing original to Smog. Tons of songs are essentially variances of G C D, or some other simple, well used structure. Whatever happened to the days when folk singers and blues musicians would borrow from each other and songs were meant to be enjoyed, not horded?
