probably the most underrated album of all times. This album is ahead of it's time in so many different ways, I just cannot accept that it was released in 1973, and like BJBooth commented - if it was released today, it would have been appreciated and received huge popularity in the indie sphere Such a unique record, unstable in a good way. Never heard anything similar to this, guess I'll never will.

Just listened to it for the first time and I totally agree. Would have felt more in place if it was from the New Weird America period in the 00's or something like that.

Todd's masterpiece! He was on fire! There are so many ideas going on here that they can barely be contained over the course of one album. It's bursting with colour, verve, wit, emotion, audacity, weirdness.. and the songs are terrific.

I, too, bought this masterpiece of an LP the day it came out--this was way back in the day when "expanding one's mind" was definitely on the agenda, and this LP greatly added to that experience--brilliant.

At the time this record was released, every listener had been completely amazed by the quality and the fascinating production work this young artist was able to deliver to tired disco people counting the bpms on smoky dancefloors. Just as David Bowie turned into Ziggy Stardust, Todd became a wizard/a true star. Yu shoulda been there !

It really picks up at track 9, but even then the only great songs on the album are 'Sometimes I Don't Know How to Feel', 'Does Anybody Love You?' And 'I'm So Proud/ LaLa Means I Love You'
