"This Social Coil" was created in spring 2011, founded in NRW - germany.
In June 2011, the first track, "Shining Target" was released.
It´s hard to describe the music direction exactly.
It´s something between Post-Rock, Indie and Alternative.
Anyway very diverse.
Instrumentals and Vocals.
Mainly based on string instruments, y, tube amps and miking of speakers.
No mainstream, no prog rock.
The influences are coming from post-rock, post punk and typical alternative sounds.
Lyrics often treat philosophically typical thoughts of the life.
There is much between the lines.
Nature and the elements are an important topic in music and lyrics again and again.
The overall sound is not synthetic.
In "This Social Coil" is a longer-term project, which is expected to develop slowly.
The first published tracks in 2011 are marked by soaring, melancholic melodies, which phases transform into a "Wall of Sound".
In the future, certainly harder sounds are expected, but still outside the mainstream.
