The most personal album in Mars' catalog to date, “It's The End Of The World But It's A Beautiful Day” marks new sonic territory for the band and challenges the listener to perceive the beauty of life, love and the world around us. back, amid many challenges and obstacles. The 11-track album is filled with concise, well-arranged songs based on soulful, straight-from-the-heart voices that explore new feelings and colors. These are songs that seek solace in basic things in life; they talk about love, enjoying the moment, disappointment and transcendence. The magazine “Kerrang!” praises: “Jared Leto proves that there is still life on Mars after five years”. The phrase echoes Leto's own opinion about this sixth album “opening new creative paths” for him and his brother.

The album's lead single, “Stuck,” reached No. 1 on the alternative radio chart after 14 weeks, marking the fastest rise for a song in the band's career. The music video was directed by Jared himself and serves as a celebration of the human form as well as minimalist design, high fashion, art and dance. “Billboard” announced the single as “a powerful and energetic track”. “Stuck” was played live for the first time on BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, shortly after its release, and captivated the audience. Outside the United States, Thirty Seconds To Mars continues to enjoy success. In Italy, “Stuck” is in the top 10 — it is the second time that the band has achieved this level of success on the charts there. “Stuck” also earned the band an MTV Video Music Award nomination in the Best Alternative category and is on track to surpass 65.5 million global streams.

Previously released songs from the album, “Life is Beautiful”, “Get Up Kid”, “Seasons” and “World On Fire”, gave fans an inside look at the new music and a preview of what the full album brings. Since they began releasing music more than two decades ago, the band has experienced immense artistic growth. The evolution in lyrics and rhythm pushes new limits to deliver a rich, dynamic sound.
