It took some time but this record finally grew on me. What a brilliant, fresh and exciting album. Definitely at the top of the last decade.

very pleasantly surprised by this album ... "produced by Graham Paul Sutton" - well, no wonder, then.

Such a well conceived and realised album. No doubt will be rediscovered in a decade and given lost classic status. But in my universe it's already a classic. Up there with Spirit of Eden & Hex.

I completely agree with the Talk Talk comparison. Thought of them before I even came to this shoutbox. Gotcha!

Fields of Reeds get's compared to Talk Talk's Spirit of Eden & Laughing Stock. They're different in many ways. Definitely one of the best albums of 2013.

This sounds like an evolution of Talk Talk's later material. One of the best albums of the year so far.

Note to instrumental rock bands who like crescendos: THIS is what post-rock is.
