I could listen to Quadrophenia for the rest of my life and still not notice every subtle nuance in the music, there's so much happening musically on this album. So many emotions, some of which I can't even describe.

Keith's voice makes this song even more nostalgic than it was supposed to be. The "Some nights I still sleep on the beach..." part is among the saddest music ever written by Pete, and the voice of Keith fits perfectly there, for some reason.
