Biography
TSA (The Sunwashed Avenues) was born in 2004 as a Punk-Hardcore Project. Some rehearsal, some ideas here and there just for fun. At that time there where two band members . In 2007 the fun project turns into a complete band and the first self titled 6 song EP was independently recorded and released. Its hard to categorize TSA , after some gigs throughout Switzerland the album "cult of the black sun" was released in 2010 over the independent label "Dirty and Weird Music". TSA style of music was still hard to define and are not a normal hardcore punk band, they mix Punk, Hardcore, Metal, Alternative-Post and epic progressive rock into varied vibrant songs. For family reasons, singer John Lihai left the band end of 2011, With a new frontman they release the new EP "blue dolphin" in which the band turns back to there 90s roots with shorten and harder songs. Blue dolphin has been released independently and available on white 10" vinyl and is free to download.
The sunwashed avenues: Francesco Romano (since the founding of the band) on guitar, Sirio Forabosco (since 2007) on drums, Chris Perez (since 2007) on bass and Yvo Petrzilek (since 2011) on Vocals.
