Really can't get into Travels, but other than that I'm still loving this album (aka collection of tunes that don't really fit together in an actual album). Okay, I admit I usually skip Solara too.

Album title sure looks like a middle finger to last.fm worrying about consistent tags. There's already a ton of variations on here. And man, I don't know where you got that "HAS TO BE IN ALL CAPS" info from, but it looks absolutely terrible. Change that.

I used to really love this band, I personally can't really get into anything that came after Zeitgeist. This album is probably better than the last 2 - 3 though. Thought "Marchin' On" was my personal standout and Solara OK. Honestly I don't think the songwriting is that bad it's just the production I feel is so bland/cold/lifeless. 4/10.

i'm convinced rick rubin destroys everything he touches, but chamberlain's drumming and corgan's voice/rhythm along with the strings are fantastic. and the CD suffers unsurprisingly from the loudness war

"Seek And You Shall Destroy" has grown on me a lot - it's one of my faves now.

First time TSP listener but Silvery Sometimes is pretty cool, as well as Solara and Marchin' On (even if it's a little cheesy it is fun) however the rest of this album is really bland and Knights of Malta is a truly awful song. Hoping this album leads me to delve into their discography though.

I think you will not know what to expect from every other SP album - they're all pretty different.

Not so keen on the first 3 songs yet but the rest of the album is pretty good. Old Pumpkin's meets new.

I'm definitely enjoying it - and I'm a lover of all the albums from 2000 and backwards. In particular I love how this band keeps evolving. No two albums are the same, and I appreciate that. Highlights in these early days: "Knights of Malta", "Silvery Sometimes", "Alienation" and most definitely "With Sympathy", but I like the whole album. So far for me, "Solara" is the one that I'm most eager to skip past but I do like it more as the song goes on. I really enjoy the album as a whole, from start to end, so far. Even if people agree it's meant to be more a collection of singles than an album, I still like how it sounds listening from start to end.

Not so much for lovers of "Siamese Dreams" or such hits of their youth like Silverfuck but... still enjoyable. The Pumpkins of today can hardly recapture that energy, mood shifts and tension built-up of the early stuff (this is what defined them to me then) but songwriting isn't bad. Well, unless you view it through the prism of the "reunion". I like Marchin' On quite a bit.

Enjoying it a lot. I would have preferred a more messy or heavy production (or both), but you can't deny the songwriting or those drums.

7.0. Weak for a reunion formation... highlights: solara and knights of malta.
