though quinn didn't actually write any songs during his stint in tfc, it's no wonder grand prix + songs from northern britain draw from the same ether--a catholic education, bandwagonesque and thirteen are all great, but it's the former two albums that i connect to and find myself coming back to most. this band has surprisingly minimal web presence in 2012, i've only found north pole so far~

Primary 5 is almost on the level of Teenage Fanclub. There's little higher praise from me. Paul Quinn is song-writing genius. Which means that, when Quinn was drummer for TFC, the band had four great song-writers at the same time. Has that ever happened before, four great song-writers in the same band?
