@CantDecideAName: The lyrics don't really present the son being gay as a bad thing. It represents him as being incredibly stupid/clueless and lacking *any* sense of timing. I mean, really, protagonist's son, you already saw all your dad went through on his birthday and you still think it's a good idea to tell him that, right at that moment? Dense much?
