Biography
Nowadays, people forgot what the real music is, music is not about technology, it’s about thoughts and feelings, the best way to express it is to play authentic. This is the main idea of two Moscow guys who are sick and tired of what is happening in music industry. They are called The Mississippi Trucks, garage rock duo, simply guitar drums and two vocals. Band was formed in the summer of 2011 when two guys accidently met via Internet, and because of their pretty similar music taste based around 50’s 60’s and really old blues , like delta blues they started doing something that they adore- play music.
Guys always use tape recorder and also like lo-fi sound cos’ they really believe in “analog magic of this device” as they stated.
In fall of 2011 The Mississippi Trucks recorded their first EP with some vintage stuff from 60’s like drums, amps, guitar and even mics. Strong grooves, fat guitar sounds, two vocal lines and tambourine are the base of their sound.
In spring of 2012 group released a single that includes two covers, chosen by each member of the band.
