Seriously - just because there's a splendid fiddle part, doesn't mean it's "country". That being said - splendid fiddling.

Sublime. The culmination of the album: a glorious three-minute pop song about love-at -a distance built up from restless (occasionally tentative) country-cum-post-punk experimentation of the rest of the album. A song in which a fiddle and a guitar fight it out to express the emotions on display: the evocative fiddling is the beauty of her dancing, the pounding drums and driving guitar are the intensity of his ardor. The second verse is a perfect encapsulation of her beauty on on the dance floor ("So beautiful, you were waltzing / Little frozen rivers all covered in snow"), a beauty so overwhelming that he repeats to those lines to get the point across. Still, her beauty paralyzes him ("I wanted to say fall in love with me"); it's just too much. And then he howls into the night--but it's not a howl of pain; it's jubilation, exuberance. Yes, she'll be here tomorrow night. Yes, she'll be dancing. Yes, he'll be watching. Yes, he'll ask her then. Yes. Yes!

I like their compellingly listenable Heaven and Hell double CD, which has this song on it.
