“Take The Veil Cerpin Taxt” is the final track on De-Loused In The Comatorium. In this song, Cerpin has returned to the Comatorium, with Death both being impressed, but still jeering at him. An open-ending to the album. One cannot tell if Cerpin Taxt is dead or alone following the story's end. We might also see this as a loss of memory. It might be that these are his words as a final cry in the story. In a way, this could be a meta-device where Cedric (the singer) uses this section to imply the end of the story while speaking as the character, closing the door once opened.
