Biography

The Last Of Lucy manifested itself into our existence on December 31st, 2006. Solidifying the line up was no easy task, without a vocalist for over a couple years things were looking grim. Luckily, they recruit Joe into the band in the summer of 2009 bringing the concept and music together. The band begins growing and feeding off the members' plethora of emotions, drug crazed hallucinations, philosophy and insanity. Like the 60’s hippies, trippers and free-thinking individuals, they challenge the status quo. What is normal? Just another word that means “shut the hell up and do what your told”.

The Last Of Lucy is far from “normal” in fact after releasing a two track demo in October 2009, The Last Of Lucy wasted no time clawing their way to the top of their scene. Having played countless local shows, and a few mini tours under their belt, they scheduled two U.S. tours for summer 2010. All with a two track demo? That is just crazy. Fear not! They plan to release their debut album “Euphoric Obsession” on May 20th 2010!

The Last Of Lucy celebrates individuality, new ideas, positive energy and above all music. The Last of Lucy’s music is for an intelligent listener, with complex patterns and meaningful poetry being sewn together with every intention to move you. Founding member Chris brings the power and heavy explosive sound from his bass. Gad stimulates your thoughts with intricate and face melting guitar riffs. Rob brings the speed and intensity, setting the pace for our spastic sounds. Joe expresses his soul in his voice, offering his poetry as an insight to his troubled mind. Progress is a must and together, they share a common goal, of pushing extreme music to the next level.
