“BLEED” serves as the third and final single in the second official rollout for The Kid LAROI’s debut studio album, THE FIRST TIME.
The song’s existence would come to light in November 2022, when Laroi made a tweet saying, “I have a song called "BLEED” and it may be my favorite song I’ve ever made".
Laroi would go on to film the music video for “BLEED” in June 2023. Visual elements from the video play a big part in the album’s official trailer and the album’s cover art.
In October 2023, just 5 days before its release, Laroi previewed the song for the very first time on TikTok.
