The Justice Collective Hillsborough tribute single was released 17 December, a cover of ‘He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother’, featuring artists Sir Paul McCartney, Robbie Williams, Rebecca Ferguson, Paloma Faith, Beverley Knight, Melanie C, Andy Brown (Lawson), Holly Johnson (Frankie Goes to Hollywood), Mick Jones (The Clash), Peter Hooton (The Farm), (The Justice Tonight band), Chris Sharrock (Oasis), Glenn Tilbrook (Squeeze), Ren Harvieu, Dave McCabe (The Zutons), Paul Heaton (Beautiful South), Shane MacGowan, Hollie Cook, Jon McClure (Reverend & The Makers), John Power (Cast) and Gerry Marsden (Gerry and the Pacemakers). The song was produced by the Award-winning Guy Chambers and went on to take the coveted Christmas number 1 position for 2012 in the UK.

All artists involved gave their time for free, with all proceeds from the sale of the single going towards the Hillsborough Families legal costs in their fight for justice.
