JTQ - Latest album is fantastic, and recording it old school really helped with the sound! Loved seeing you live in Canterbury last year!

The Theme from Starsky and Hutch can't be played off Last.fm radio, so perhaps listeners aren't discerning, just deprived. I can't believe they're still gigging, it's 20 years since I saw them. Plus the "Theme" was mind blowing live.

I'm so impressed that Blow up is the top track and not "Theme from Starsky and Hutch" - well done last.fm listeners

I saw them live while I was at Bradford Uni (UK) back in the late 80s. I saw a couple do the most amazing moves involving passing a hat back and forth. It's impossible to remain still while listening to their funked up jazzy groove. Right now, I'm loving "Message from the Godfather". This album was criticized for lack of originality. I say who cares. From start to finish, it's an impeccable groove. Ahhh, those rich, warm fat organ notes .... Beautiful sax too. I need a cigarette.

Jaygroove - The JTQ compilation 'The Collection' is pretty comprehensive, with no obvious ommissions. If you want to choose 1 standard release, I'd go for 'Do Your Own Thing'.
