No Smoke, No Mirrors is The Holloways' 2nd album. It was released on October 28th, 2009.
The album contains the earlier released single: Jukebox Sunshine
Which topped at #4 UK Independent chart
Though the album recieved a lot positive reviews, there's also critism. NME-reviewer Ben Patashnick, wasn't happy with the release of the album. And he makes that perfectly clear in his review. The songs On The Bus and Alcohol are irritating him, and the single Jukebox Sunshine "… 's plinky-plonk melody is more annoying than dropping your phone down the toilet." He claims The Holloways' album No Smoke, No Mirrors lacks originality, depth and soul.
But others feel its the simplicity and the positive atmosphere around the album, that makes it attractive.
