This is an insane followup to Calculating but that album still reigns supreme imo. Fantastic album, like an 8 or 9 out of 10

What a coincidence that one of my favorite music albums has been released on my birthday.

I've got a lot of time for this band. Ire Works is cool as shit, Calculating Infinity is an insane masterpiece... this album is alright really, but as has been mentioned, it's way too Mike Patton in places which I find really grating. Phone Home is basically a second rate Tomahawk song.

Loved this record front-to-back for years. It surprises me 'We Are the Storm' isn't often highlighted as a standout Dillinger track. Tight, superlatively aggressive riffs; seriously complex grooves that are also undeniably catchy; memorable vocals; and the overall composition exemplifies the band's newfound grasp on hard-soft dynamics. Stands alongside 'Sunshine the Werewolf' as the best two tracks on the album.

holds up better than any of their albums. One of Us Is the Killer was way better than their last two records, but I feel like this is almost untouchable

"Easily their best, this blows their newer stuff out of the water. If you don't agree me you're wrong" I agree that it blows everything after out of the water, but I don't like it more than Calculating Infinity. I like all their albums, but this was the last that I really loved.

Omg middle school memories. Now I listen to it through different ears, no doubt. Regardless, it was a pretty cool experience listening to this when I was a kid.

First time I listened to this album, I hated it (It was the first time I'd ever listened to DEP, apart from when I was 16 and heard some tracks off Calculating Infinity and thought it was just a bunch of guitar wank). Years later, I was playing Saints Row: The Third, and heard Farewell, Mona Lisa. Eventually made my way back to this album. It's not easily my favourite album of theirs. And you know what, guys? I don't think the band gives a fuck what you think about their stuff. They're making and playing the music they want to create and perform. At least they have some fucking conviction, unlike other bands.

Stil my favourite. Re-listened to Ire Works and, while it's good, it didn't blow me away like this did.

"It has nothing to do with taste. If you put Calculating Infinity last, your opinion is wrong." well aren't you a fucking idiot.

I think certain fans rate DEP's new stuff higher because some people don't appreciate technical musical interplay and just need melodic vocals to latch onto. Catchier vocals = better to a lot of people.

I think this was their last really good album. I've been a fan since before "Calculating Infinity" came out, and they basically just became an "Irony Is a Dead Scene" tribute band after losing their original vocalist. Sad to see.

"Miss Machine > Option Paralysis > Ire Works > Calculating Infinity. There, I said it. " You said it alright, and it's completely wrong.
