Biography
The Defended is a Scottish garage rock band consisting of lead singer and guitarist Dave McCallum, guitarist Scott Chalmers, Fraser Breingan on Bass, and ‘Lou Lou P’ on Drums.
The band toured the UK in 2008, and planned on releasing an EP in 2009.
In the 2020s, the group came to prominence through their song “Man on a Hill” being “lost media”, being found and eventually reuniting for a comeback.
On MySpace, they list some of their influences as the Arctic Monkeys, the Verve, the Stone Roses, the Lemonheads, and Green Day.
