'Fascination Street' is a 1989 single from The Cure's album of the same year, Disintegration; the album was a commercial success and is largely considered the band’s creative peak. The Cure's American record company refused the band's original choice of 'Lullaby' as the first single and used "Fascination Street" instead. At the time, Lullaby was the lead single in the UK, but was released in the U.S. later. The song is notable for its extended bass introduction.
