oh how I adore these bunch sexually ambiguous twinks that swing their hips and fix their hair while screaming abstract poetry over complex rythms <3

burn, piano island, island came out 20 years ago & there's a reissue out (& they are active on ig now), which means maybe they will do another reunion tour (pls)

we will see, but not sure a reunion will happen tbh, they had one back in 2014 & that was the last of it. all the band members are in their 40s, married, etc. johnny has like 5 kids now. they all seem pretty busy with their lives, but who knows! but i'm happy that they have had some resurgence of interest, esp amongst zoomers. support by buying the reissues! i'm sure they will do one for crimes & young machetes next.

one of the few bands from this era I actually WANT to hear new music from. I know it will never happen, but they were really hitting a songwriting groove with Young Machetes and Crimes with a perfect balance between abstract thrashing and post-pop. All the member's solo projects have been quite underwhelming as well - though I won't complain about getting that 2016 HWC release.

When I listen to them I imagine they’re a bunch of sharp toothed Disney-esque black kitties dancing around and singing on the top of a fence next to a view of a starry city night sky.

With this whole wave of post-hardcore adjacent bands reuniting the past couple years I would hope you're right. Botch, Saetia, City of Caterpillar, Bane, Finch, In Loving Memory, Unbroken, Unwound, My Chemical Romance, The Mars Volta, Heavy Heavy Low Low, and a handful of others I'm forgetting. Hoping we get to hear from The Blood Brothers and Fear Before soon.

i remember being 10 & listening to these guys. i thought i was so cool in middle school bc nobody knew who they were. and then they broke up & i was bummed out. listening to their albums in full more than a decade later & i can say that it holds up so well. during the era of shitty post-hardcore in the early to mid 00s, these guys surpassed their contemporaries by a long shot, no question. their sound, lyricism & vision are great. i hate how they were lumped in with garbage scenekid-core bands at their peak (at the time). great band.

Almost 20 years since I looped Crimes on the middle school bus! Can almost feel my braces again when I listen.

Such a great unique band! Like some other great bands of the 1st decade of the 21st century (The Fall of troy, Horse the band, Protest the Hero, etc.) suffering from the budget losses from internet piracy and struggling to deliver the same quality of their sound live as on their records due to the complexity of their recorded material, disappeared from the face of music scene in the 2nd decade of 21 st century. A Goddamn Shame!

WHY am I being redirected to a post-hardcore band formed in 1997 when I'm listening to Reggae Band Blood Brothers [no THE] that were around prior - tracks I have are on the Men At Work OST from 1990, 7 years earlier!!!

Someone must have corrected the tags in the past and since the change there is no way to change the tags back. The most you can do for now is click "No" on the "Is The Blood Brothers the correct name for this artist?" question, that is situated on the right, around the height of the albums, and click "Yes" on the same question on this page https://www.last.fm/music/+noredirect/Blood+Brothers

Let me click "No" on one, but not "Yes" on the other, although the latter is highlighted so assume that it is assuming that I'm saying "Yes" already for that one... Had a few of these issues in the past year or so, makes me wonder why I even have the "auto-correct" option in my profile turned off!! Lol.
