The Postcard From Paris Songfacts states that the song was released on March 5, 2012 as the fifth single from the Band Perry's self-titled debut album. Initially their label had not planned to release another song from The Band Perry. However, the three siblings got so many messages about this number from fans, that the record company was forced to change their minds.
