Biography
The Afterimage was a Canadian-based progressive metalcore band from Barrie, Ontario, active from 2011 to 2018, that were signed to Tragic Hero Records. The band formed together in 2011 with members from previous local Ontario bands such as Centuries Apart and The Prologue. They have been known to use elements of mathcore, progressive rock, metalcore, and post-hardcore in their work.
The band announced their ending via social media on September 22, 2018, later revealed to have rebranded into the technical deathcore act Brand of Sacrifice with the same lineup.
The Afterimage's final line-up was: Kyle Anderson on vocals (2012–2018), guitarists Michael Leo Valeri (2013–2015, 2018) and Liam Beeson (2017–2018), bassist Dallas Bricker (2012–2018), and drummer Robert Zalischi (2013–2018).
