Out of Orlando Florida The Acclaim has quickly made a name for themselves. All coming from different backgrounds the individual members all bring mature and God given musical talent. While they might look like a young band, dont let the number of shows they have played fool you. The Acclaim is a musical force to be reckoned with, with an acoustic demo already released, an EP already starting to take shape. While some may underestimate thier true potential, the members and the ones of have experienced them in action truly know what they are capable of.
While their purpose is to exalt the name of God, They do not fall into the "Christian" genre of music, becuase it will only limit their overall purpose. Instead they take the stage as Christians in a band with a purpose of hope, resucue, and grace.
Their music embodies something fresh yet classic that can not be exactly classified in any genre. It comes to be a mixture of all kinds of different musical styles that has inspired the individual members over the years. End end result is something far from cookie cutter sterotypes, but a breath of fresh air.
