UssoWebbing
Urotsukidoji. Based on the anime of the same name. I've seen the 1st episode. Weeb is now a term that is part of Americana. No one minds being called a weeb.

Glad that you enjoy it too, bro. BOTH James Murphy albums are more than awesome. 2 tracks feature Devin Townsend's best vocals ever, in my opinion. I'm so happy that James is back on Facebook and back with music (atm he's touring with ex-DEATH members and performs old DEATH songs). After his brain cancer I wasn't expecting anything.

HaohmaruRocks
Souls of black is my favorite. However Low has Trail of tears and Urotsukidoji the anime. Girls getting Chainsawed in pieces by tentacle rape demons is death thrash.

I should have gottn this one in 1994 or 1995 in catalog. I liked it on first listen.

"Legions (In Hiding)", "Shades Of War", "Trail Of Tears"... Some of the band's best songs in my opinion. Great album, really like this one! Love the drumming.

probably the best 90s album a 80s thrash band ever released, together with anthrax's sound of white noise. as we all know, 90s was pretty tuff for those bands, and that's one of the few good album from that dark period.

I feel the same way about Overkill's '90s albums, like WFO & From the Underground and Below

Probably their weakest album but is still an enjoyable listen anyway. Not exactly the thrash of old but they didn't go the radio friendly route of some bands.

This is from a time when thrash metal bands tried to produce albums that were "different" somehow (1993/94) - and Testament did a great job.

Agree with MrChimney. Solid from start to finish. One of the most inspired TestAment albums next to The New Order. You have to mention The contributions of the legendary James Murphy on his leads and his writing additions to a few tracks like Hail Mary. Pure killer.

Great album, although I like their first four more. This and The Ritual go equally in my taste. I really like Shades of War.

You can definitely mark this as the transitional album between their thrash and death metal periods.
