One the best songs or the best was in Woostock... Going Home by Alvin Lee which Ten Years After was under rated band to many people but not to me which they started with the blues like many other bands but they kept it up.

A friend of mine palyed this album one weekend night in early 1969 and it knocked me for a loop. I went out the next day and bought it. Later, in the summer of 1969, I saw a clip of TYA on the evening news showing TYA doing Going Home. I went out and bought Undead the following day. Alvin Lee (R.I.P.) and band was one helluva show. Woodstock gave us glimpse of this really fine band.

Takes me back, to my unrefined youth, and did things I can't believe I did, and will deny, since I wake up every morning wondering how I got here and how did I get so old ???? oh well, no one is perfect....

Alvin Lee is so incredible and underrated it's just mind boggling. He's an absolute phenom but isn't known at all outside of guitar circles. So sad. But that's music for you....when Kurt Cobain (not dissing him----just making a point) is a better known guitarist than Lee that's just crazy...
