Originally, the song was released as the lead single for Taylor Swift’s fourth studio album, Red, also known as the old version of “Red”. It received a Grammy Award nomination for Record of the Year and was Swift’s first #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100.
The song debuted at #55 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the week ending November 26, 2021. The original version of the song originally peaked at number one in 2012.
