"I'll Always Love You" is a song by Taylor Dayne and is one of her best known songs. This song showed Dayne's softer side after the first two singles released were mainly high energy dance tracks. This single gave Dayne her first adult contemporary hit and her first (and to date) only song to chart on the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B Singles chart where song peaked at number 21. It reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 on September 24, 1988. In 1997, Tito Nieves covered the song in salsa from his album, I Like It Like That.
