“she’s all i wanna be” is a song written and recorded by Tate McRae for her debut album "i used to think i could fly", released on May 27, 2022. The song started to get traction when a snippet was posted on TikTok. Later, the track began being teased in multiple videos posted by McRae. According to her, the song began as a ballet to show how sad the story of the relationship was to her. She began changing it to the upbeat pop song that was released to attract more listeners.
