T.T.MA (Hangeul: 티티마) was a South Korean five-member girl group. They debuted in 1999 under Music Factory Entertainment. The group was called the female version of NRG. Originally the group's name stood for "To the Maximum" later, it was changed to "Taste the Maximum".
1999: debut
The group debuted with the members: Soy (소이), Semi (세미), Ujin (유진), Junhae (주혜) and Queena (퀴나). Their debut album was released on May 18, 1999 as a CD and cassette and was titled In The Sea. The album contained their hit single "Be My Baby". Later on, T.T.Ma released the song "Prism", using this single to try to break into the Chinese music market. The song had some success.
2000: Junhae and Queena Departure
In 2000, members Junhae and Queena left the group and were replaced by Euni (은희) and Zin (진경). The group then released their second album on June 15, 2000 I Wanna Be. This album was released in a CD and cassette format and contained the song "Wanna be Loved" which was considered to be one of the most popular songs of that year.
2002 - 2007
In 2002, the group disbanded. In 2007, the group came back with the song "Come Back with Christmas".
