T.T. Purontaka, real name Veli Tapani Purontaka, (born 19th April 1962 in Toholampi, Finland)is a finnish singer, who in 1990 was starting his career in the music business by being the bassist of well-known finnish singer-songwriter Topi Sorsakoski. Desire and the skills to perform his own kind of music made T.T. Purontaka reach for a band of his own, and in 1994 the first album "Vie minut sun uniin" ("Take me to your dreams") was released. But it was the album "Tähtitaivas" ("Starsky"), and especially it's hit song "Tähtitaivas, tähtisilmät" that really made T.T. famous in the dancestages around Finland.
Since then T.T. Purontaka has released 6 full-length albums and one collection, including his biggest hits.
