“The Parasite“ is the opening track from Swans' sixteenth studio album, The Beggar. A very ‘ritual-esque’ song, possibly describing the relation with a person/animal and a parasite, with very simple instrumentation consisting of a guitar and some synths.
A parasite is an organism that steals nutrients, giving nothing in return.
