the soundtrack to my true love story. "carry me ohio" was our song. the love is gone now, gone forever in fact, but the song is still here. and for around five minutes, they're alive again. and the tears start falling. the other songs as well, love them all....

thank you so much twis. i feel the love in your message :) i feel blessed to share this song with you too. this song is the sound of those lost times, winter 2021. i can still feel their embrace when this was playing in the background from my phone...the love of those nights... i am stable, but very broken inside. it's been around a year and a half since they passed away, i am just starting to get back to a more normal set of emotions. was blessed to have some incredible online friends who held my hand in some of the darkest hours. imagine that, grieving behind your family's back because they wouldn't understand...

I feel like I tear up most times when thinking of this album because of my immense love for it. Like pinkfloid said, it's impossible to overrun its course, and every songs will resonate with you differently with each listen. Even though the RHP discography, April, and Benji are all staggering achievements, this has to be Koz's best.

There is something stunningly beautiful about this album and the place it puts you in when you listen to it.

Fantastic album for long drives, especially to/from home or other bastions of nostalgia.

It's almost impossible to get burned out on this album. It has such a great flow and the conflicting sense of timelessness and fading memory is perfectly echoed through the lyrics (who would have thought songs about boxers could be so emotional?). Not only that but the varied instrumentation and the song placement (genius to have the same song interpreted twice) just lends itself to an overall powerful feeling that you're listening to something special. This has to be in the top 10 albums of the decade for sure.
