Three months after the release of the EP, Milk Teeth, Suki Waterhouse unveils the single, “To Love.” The track is unlike any of the British artist’s previous works — she exchanges her signature sad-girl heartbreak songwriting for a warmer and more optimistic take on romance.

“To Love” also showcases Waterhouse’s disbelief in her own happiness as she illustrates finding the right person at the right time. The singer, who has been dating British actor Robert Pattinson for four years, depicted a meditation on love and the joy it brings to life:

““To Love” is a song that I wrote really recently that I was going to wait to put out on my second album. But I felt like it is a very distinct portrait of my heart right now that I wanted to share.“

Suki Waterhouse first performed the song on her ‘Coolest Place in the World’ tour, saying in a March 2023 interview with Rolling Stone:

“I started performing it on tour and got so excited that I wanted to share it with everyone.“
