Released on 15 September 2019, this song produced by E.Y, AdotSkitz and !llmind ended up being the second single from Stormzy's album Heavy Is The Head. Its title and some of the flows Stormzy uses pay tribute to Wiley, a founding figure ("the godfather") of grime music, as does the single cover art. Despite the love and respect Stormzy shows on "Wiley Flow", Wiley ended up starting a beef with him in January 2020 with "Eediyat Skengman". This drove yet more attention to this song, and it ended up being certified Silver by British Phonographic Industry at the end of the month.
