I can relate to this song so much that it hurts. But then again it happens many times with Steven's lyrics.

I welcome this pop direction with open arms. [5] Waiting for more pop songs (without prog) on SW5.

It makes one wonder how this could have been written by the same guy who pulled "The Raven that Refused to Sing...". Disappointing falls short

This was the only song off the album I'd heard before I got the actual disc. I initially was bored with it. More Lightbulb Sun (one of my favorites from PT at least) and less Raven... but I can't stop listening to it. The melodies are excellent! And the outro is great as well.

I welcome this pop direction with open arms. It reminds me of early PT and songs like Piano Lessons. [2]

Still sounds like a goat playing with wooden tubs, when compared to Gavin Garrison.

Great song! Definitely looking forward to the album now. Anybody else hearing "I Drive The Hearse" in the melody of the first couple lines though?

This song will probably be his next "Trains". Its super catchy, beautifully arranged and if the radio stations were not so biased against any form of modern Prog bands/artists it would probably chart. I have plenty of hope for the new album :-)

I've heard the whole album and it isn't that poppy as this song suggests.. 3 Years Older and Ancestral are my favourite songs.. Both songs are longer than 10 minutes.. The overal tone of the album is pretty sad imo, especially the lyrics.. There's still enough prog to enjoy as well but it's just different. The album is a mixture of styles but Steven is known to experiment. (You won't see any scrobbles because someone did me a favour and I will never share it with the world haha, I feel privileged to have already heard it). :-)

v Yeah. My buddy said "it sounds like Blackfield without the resulting irritation and jock itch" ha ha

So insanely beautiful. I heard it once on Youtube a few weeks ago and I couldn't get it out my head the following weeks. Somehow I came across the mp3 today. Of course I can't wait for the actual release of the album and I pre-ordered my copy. <3

Nice soft guitar work, i love when the distorted guitar came. too pop for Steven Wilson?mm... what about Blackfield or PT? he is the main composer for PT and he has done many pop songs in the past for PT.
