This one said nothing to me when released and now may be my favorite one from the album. I like how it keeps adding layers at the end, how they intertwine.

Album would be better off with this off it. I suspect Steven knows this. My memory recalls his touring TTB and giving an introduction longer than the song itself, to 'Permanating'. He asked that the audience stand and move along to the song. Few did, at least without that self-conscious energy which stumps one's dancing. I get that same audience-contrarian energy from this.

Can't say it is grabbing me on first listen, think I will wait till I can listen to the whole album and see if it grows on me.

His best thing in upwards of 10 years. I hope he really is steering back onto the road after that wrapped-around-a-telephone-pole of an album that was The Future Bites

Have nothing against his experiments with electronic music. I really love Bass Communion, IEM and his other projects plus he has very strong electronic songs in his solo catalogue like Abandonded, Perfect Life, Personal Shopper etc, but god, this song is so uninteresting and boring. Maybe it sounds great in the context of the whole album, but as the very first single from the album?

Was expecting something more risky TBH, even if the electronic beat's kind of funny. Not terrible though, looks like a grower.
