I've got some nostalgia each time I listen to this song. For me It's the last good song of him.

The guitar in the first minutes reminds me so much of We Lost the Sea - Departure Songs, especially for a song such as Bogatyri. That one and this one are amongst my all time favourite tracks ever.

I love the progressive sequence of this track that builds up into a absolute monster. I can only salute you Steven!

Guthrie is an amazing guitarist. The second half of this song is fucking brilliant. It's not boring at all. The most disappointing thing about this song is that it's too short.

I love the pairing of the halves of this song. Both are fucking fantastic, though for completely different reasons--and they're tied together by an excellent guitar solo. Only gripe I have is when it randomly drops to quiet in the middle of the outro... otherwise I'd be headbanging to awkward rhythms for like seven minutes straight.

The first three or so minutes of this song remind me of something that would have been on The Ocean's Precambrian album.

I was disappointed when I found out that Steven replaced Ninet's vocals on this one, but I understand the decision from a story telling point of view.

The second half of this is good, but the first half of this is beyond incredible. The backing chorus during the "come back" part sounds like an army of avenging angels. [2]
