Biography
Steven Melin began his music composing career writing for prominent music libraries, which led to numerous placements on many of the most-viewed television shows in the world including The Bachelorette, Dancing with the Stars, & The Dr. Oz Show.
This work led to scoring dozens of films, including award-winning Space to Explore, Made in Mekhe, & The Spirit of Generosity. He then became the lead composer for Fool and Scholar Productions, who has quickly risen as the industry-leading producer of fiction audio drama series, including multi-award-winning The White Vault, Dark Dice, & Liberty.
With music used in over 1,500+ video games, Steven is one of the best-selling music pack creators on the Unity Asset Store. He also writes custom scores for video games, including recent indie hit Monster Sanctuary. Steven has worked alongside industry pioneers Hitoshi Sakimoto (Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy XII), David Wise (Battletoads, Donkey Kong Country, & Penka Kouneva (Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Gears of War 3), and has been mentored by dozens of veteran composers as part of his ongoing leadership of the Video Game Music Alliance.
