God i forgot how good the vocals on this are, Cannibal is their best album but this is by FAR Wayne's best vocal performance

I mean this in the nicest way possible but Wayne Static sounds like angry SpongeBob

Perhaps the only nu metal record to fully incorporate industrial music and make it sound good?

I was a teen when it came out and now this album is an anomaly... its the only nu metal album from that era that I can still listen to and enjoy. Musically it's pretty badass, and some of the song's easily misheard lyrics can make it hilarious. I in no way take it seriously, my friends and I sometimes shout out them at parties to this day.

Agreed. This and System of a Down's first album are the only 2 nu-metal albums which have aged somewhat well and that I still listen to. The rest of it hasn't and is pretty cringe now.

Imagine what could have been for this band. This album fucking slays. They definitely jumped the shark after this one. What could have been for a band that clearly had great potential to play some kickass shit.

I got into them when I was younger (around 10 years old or so) because my cousin was into them. I grew up listening to Shadow Zone and Start A War. Recently got back into them, and have to say this is my favorite album. One of my few childhood metal bands I'm not ashamed to say I liked!

The only good album they made, I lost interest after this, but this album is great.

i've only heard this & Machine... so i'm kinda biased with this one, tho Machine rocks too. this one takes me back to seeing them open for Powerman 5000 in 2000... they totally blew them away!!! i was actually upset that i missed a track or 2 cuz i got to the venue slightly late, & i was totally infatuated... so intense, & i wanted more!!!! definitely 1 of my most overplayed albums of 2000.
