Self-Destructive Pattern is a near-mint masterpiece of an album, thanks Freddy vs Jason for getting me into the band all those years ago. \m/

Looks like Jonny Santos is starting a new band 'The Less Dead', but you have to follow his Facebook page for updates. Couldn't find much about the new band.

Like with Dry Kill Logic, I've only read about them in the 90s through a rock magazine (Circus or Hit Parader). However, I sort of recall listening to a sample. Well I may check out Spineshank one day via Spotify. Also will check out Dry Kill Logic, if they're on Spotify as well.

Basically Spineshank means "back stab" or "stab someone in the back". Had too many so called friends back then always stab me in the back. This still scars and even in Asthmatic "Left the scar exposed.." speaks more words to me than ever before, the wound has never fully healed. Some friends just left and ghosted me. It's why this will forever be my favorite nu metal/industrial metal band and will keep my screen name.

I hate when random groups pop into my head, and then I feel the sudden urge to binge their whole discography. Maybe I'll like something this time around.

If you don't like anything yet... I recommend "Beginning of the End". My personal favorite from them.

I can't believe it. I downloaded that album off of Napster too, but still bought the album when it came out. Went to their 2003 tour, was badass.

I found them out from the "MTV: Return of the Rock, Vol 2" compilation. We also have Fear Factory to thank for supporting and getting Spinehank out there, my favorite nu/industrial metal band. 🤘 I need to listen to them more again.

‘New a SpineShank?!’ I hear you Say. Well Yes but actually no. It’s actually a B-Side from the Japanese ‘anger denial acceptance’ that’s only just been released.

I remember them, they were one of those essential nu-metal bands back when nu-metal was a hot thing.

Found this lurking around, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QSb2KgKG3A Also for those wondering i guess Spineshank is taking an extra long vacation, have no idea how they are paying for it though, they couldn't possibly have a lot of money especially when their last album was in 2012 and the previous in 2003.

Pretty certain this band is done for. Members probably have other jobs than in music anyway and some are playing in different bands now.

Its a completely different style from almost everything they released. It's not as melodic as the rest of their albums and has more rapping. So, that could be why. But I personally think that the albums not bad at all.

@Zaxx87 I've known about that album, but I don't really like it, and I'm saying IF they release ANOTHER album.

After not listening to this band for a year or so and disappointed from the latest album, i re-listened to it and it 's better.. but not really that much. Maybe from more listens i may or may; not like it more... however i think some people shouldn't be so concerned about the negative feedback. It's not just from 'ADA' every album that is released has some major negative feedback, sometimes it's really bad. Check the Behemoth shoutbox (maybe 3 or 4 pages going back) and even an album that Whispered release had someone posting something ridiculous. If you look anywhere else you might find some negative feedback but point being, if those were not so defensive about mine and other people's negative responses i might have actually tried listening to the album a few more times and might actually enjoyed it. There wasn't much industrial in the album, except for the last few tracks and there were some improvements to the sound. First few listens aren't usually perfect, but again i was..

@reapersdealer: Not exactly sure, don't seem to be any tour dates or anything. Tried doing a search but nothing comes up, their facebook page hasn't been updated. Either they are working on a new album or something personal among one of the band members came up and they're being quiet about it.. they could just be on a hiatus and didn't mention it.
