Southpaw Swagger – In an era where genre lines are constantly blurred, Southpaw Swagger inflicts listeners with a unique fusion of hip-hop and modern rock. These proponents of “Urban-Rock” make parties come alive with their addictive assault of guitar-driven beats and their anthemic, fist-pumping hooks. Simply put, lyricist Jesse Williams, and guitarist/producer Derek Steele, have become Detroit’s freshest advocates for tearing down the walls between rap and rock.
Party With Guns – You can definitely judge THIS album by it’s title. From the opening chant, of “MAKE THE PARTY LOUD”, to the cowboy swagger of “Showdown”, the mission is clearly stated; get with them or get out of the way! These guys aren’t gangsters, but you better believe that each track was specifically fashioned to electrify a party, or to pump you up for the fight of your life.
Film, TV, Video Games – Prior to releasing their debut album, “Party With Guns”, Southpaw has already begun to cultivate a global audience. Their music has been heard world-wide through multiple placements on MTV, Spike TV, CBS, and even on the theatrical trailer for “Transporter 3″.
