riffless chaos a.d.? nah, I see your Point: roots and the early soulfly are somehow missing classical riffing, but not on Chaos A.D.

Their magnum opus. [3] Their best indeed. Pure, unabashed and catchy heaviness from start to finish.

This is the style they should have just started with, instead of that godawful tribal gangster nu-metal [3]

Soulfly best album for sure, and one of Max Cavalera greatest albums in general

This had potential to be a great thrash album but it's just way too long and ridden with fillers.

Jazzy breakdown on I And I, Love it; has an Opeth feel. Thats good metal right there, when you can incorporate different aspects of sound into a song.

This album has some really awesome songs, but as said before it also contains a lot of filler. I have listened to their new album ''Conquer'' today and I think that one is better. But one thing's for sure, to hell with the old nu-metal Soulfly!!

@ac196nataku - Babylon is an important Rastafarian term, referring to human government and institutions that are seen as in rebellion against the rule of JAH (Zion), beginning with the Tower of Babel. It is further used by some to mean specifically the 'polytricksters' who have been oppressing the black race for centuries through economic and physical slavery. More on wikipedia ;)
