Biography
Something About Dave, Weeting's number one emo-pop-punk-ska band, formed at least 100 years ago when Eric Clapton invented music, and his disciple Chris Pennells (guitar/emo scream/ massive emo badger face) formed Something About Dave with Daryl 1337 (horrifically out of key yelps), Lee Sprout (bass/big hair/tree) and William William Williams the 3rd (drums/token black guy).
Originally a comedy pop-punk band, things became much more serious when Chris decided they should be paid for the noise they made and discovered emo music. Thus they were reborn as the seething cauldron of teenage angst you hear today.
Other notable events include Chris leaving the band over 7 times, Lee getting a haircut, Chris leaving the band again, and Willwillwill the 3rd moving to Turkey or something and getting A New Drummer.
The band finally broke up when Chris really did leave the band (to join Norfolk's finest sellout-core band Deaf Havana), but no-one will ever forget the mark (the fat kid) Something About Dave left on Weeting's underground emo scene.
