I was just getting into more diversified metal when I heard this album! It blew my mind...how could an album this amazing exist and me not know about it!

I only love half of the songs (the faster ones) and can't stand the slower ones. I felt like if songs like Antidotes in Passing, Vesta, Windswept Mercy, Memories Confined, etc and the instrumentals were left off, then it would be a more aggressive and shredding single album. But people love the shit out of this, so I guess they did right. IMO it's about 50% filler and 50% too long, but I think the stoked majority win =)

The amount of listeners surprises me...is this a cult album? Everyone I know that enjoys this album loves the hell out of it, myself included!

v I do listen to what I like most of the time but apparently if I complain once I'm not and suddenly I became one of those bitchy metalheads. Labeling this album melodic death metal is oversimplying.

People still think Soilwork is melodic death metal? He's been into metalcore since Stabbing the Drama

Never mind. It grew on me. Spectrum of Eternity, The Living Infinite I & II, Let the First Wave Rise, Drowning With Silence and Antidotes in Passing are my favourites.

Soilwork were a bit too ambitious with this one in my opinion. Too many good/great tracks and too few amazing ones. It's a great album to put into the CD player, though.

The Panic Broadcast had its share of mediocre songs in my opinion, this is just pure bliss from start to finish. Though, to be fair, TPB WAS indeed a big step in the right direction and a lot more enjoyable than StD or StaGD.
