Biography
Hip Hop has been a staple in his life since age 13, when he first freestyled, and then wrote lyrics, that would eventually in time become songs. His first recordings were in 1999 when Josh Boots and Soiled Seed made a 3 song demo, on a 4 track recorder, on home made beats. From there they decided to make things a little more proffesional and decided to make a full length demo at a local studio. That demo turned out to be an album titled Star Spangle Grammar. They purchased like 2 hundred copies and then hit the streets. It was then that a another local MC titled Akream was making his way into the game, and happen to get a copy of their first cd. One day he hit them up and that's how Arctic Flow Records was Born.
In early 2010 the Arctic Flow era was put to rest and Soiled Seed teamed with Josh Boots and Jason Zastrow to form Marvel Us Music. On the heels of his first solo project "Tree Top High," Soiled Seed is preparing to introduce himself to the world. "Tree Top High" is a collection of heartfelt material that explores the experiences, relationships, hopes and dreams of one of Alaska's elite artist's. Its vivid lyrical narrative, bilingual transitions, and pure hip hop sound combine to form a body of work that is sure to stand the test of time and touch all who listen.
